Roti is an east indian meal however as Guyana and Trinidad has a larger population of East Indian descendants. It is most popular from natives of these Caribbean Islands.

Roti is a dough made from flour, water and baking powder. It is mixed together somewhat to the texture of bread dough, rolled into balls (cooking oil is added to these balls when rolled) and then rolled flat with a rolling pin. They are then heated on an oiled tawa until considered cooked.

Roti is eaten with curry foods such as chicken, shrimp, vegetables etc. Whatever yoiu desire.

This is just a basic idea of what roti is and I think it's pretty delicious.
