Tourism is perhaps the only ‘marketed’ or ‘marketable’ product which

results in enormous transfer of funds.

Even though this industry in India is short of foreign grants, it can

bring valuable foreign exchange to the country and particularly a state like

Kerala, without any exchange or export of merchandise. During the period 1951-2001, India achieved a

compound growth rate of 16.2 percent in foreign exchange earnings as against

the world average of 13.5 percent. Due

I took a one day trip to Dominica years ago. It's a very lush island with limited development. They boast 365 rivers like Antigua boasts 365 beaches. Honestly, it got pretty boring touring the island UNTIL we got to the Emerald Pool! We had to hike through a path that was filled with greenery and a cool temperature along side a river. We were on the side of a hill and we saw the beginning of the fall. It was breathtaking. I couldn't wait to get in the water! The water was cold, but it ...

If there is one place that stood out to me in the Caribbean, it was definitely Rick's cafe Jamaica.

All the stuff people talk about such as the sunset and bar etc. was allright but what got me was the cliff jumpers (crazy)!!!

These jumpers would jump hundreds of feet for cash. From the top of cliffs and even the top of trees on the top of the cliffs.

For an idea of what I am referring to, click on this link to see a video...

Ital is not simply a dish but it is more like a way that the Rasatafarian movement prepares their meal.

One Ital dish that I am familiar with is Ital rice (mixed rice with vegetables)

Lionel Richie

Kenny Rogers

Brian McKnight

Shaggy

and many more......

The only thing is that the paper advised that you can check www.antiguamusicfestival.com for more information and I visited the website and it is blank. Nonetheless it is going to be the biggest show to reach Antigua. Going to be very pricey I am sure though.

Roti is a dough made from flour, water and baking powder. It is mixed together somewhat to the texture of bread dough, rolled into balls (cooking oil is added to these balls when rolled) and then rolled flat with a rolling pin. They are then heated on an oiled tawa until considered cooked.

Devils bridge was formed by the Atlantic waves after centuries of pounding away on the soft and hard limestone ledges of the Antiguan surface.

The adventure of crossing this bridge is available to all adults but safety is stressed as the Atlantic waves will be breaking on the surface surronding the bridge.
